The Women's Chorus will perform their May 2024 concert "I Sing Because I['m Happy" at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1:00 p.m. on May 1, 2024 and at St. John's United Church of Christ at 7:00 p.m. on May 7, 2024. See the flyer on the Home page for full details.
Important Notice: The fall session of chorus rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Rehearsals are from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Port Huron Senior Center. See below for further information. New members are welcome to join during the first three weeks of rehearsal. Tryouts are not required. Rehearsals for the December 2023 program will begin in September 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Port Huron Senior Center, 600 Grand River, Port Huron. COVID-19 vaccination is required for participation.
New members are welcome and tryouts are not required. Women of all ages, 18 and older, are welcome. Chorus members are expected to join the Musicale. Dues are $25 per year. We also join the Council on Aging as they provide us with rehearsal space. Dues are $15 per year. There is no age limit.

The chorus performs for The Musicale the first Wednesdays in December and May at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel, 2000 Court St., Port Huron, and may sing the same concert at other evening venues as well. This is a group of women who love to sing and have a good time while they do it.
NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME!
Debbie Bussineau-King, a native of Flint, is a Professor of Music Emerita at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She was educated at Michigan State University, the University of Texas at Austin and Texas State University.
After an impressive musical career, in 2013 Debbie and her family returned to Michigan. They currently reside in Lexington where Debbie is the director of the Trinity Episcopal Church choir. She also sings with the International Symphony Orchestra Singers.
Performing with the chorus was flautist Andrea Hanton. Andrea is the daughter of our acconmpanist Janine Stein.
